Peter Zucker, Ph.D., joins WP&C as Senior Advisor, Behavioral Health

Wilson Perumal & Company (WP&C) is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Zucker, Ph.D., as a Senior Advisor. Zucker guides behavioral health organizations to achieve large-scale strategic and clinical transformations. In his 30 years of experience, he has developed and launched over 75 hospitals, facilities, and programs.

At WP&C, Zucker will play a key role in strengthening the firm's commitment to helping healthcare organizations thrive in a rapidly shifting, increasingly complex landscape. He will leverage his deep expertise within behavioral health to help clients minimize risk, unlock scale and profitability, and improve performance.

Throughout his career, Zucker has guided organizations to clinical excellence and strong business results. His roles have included co-founder, enterprise leader, and Executive Chairman and Operating Partner of a private equity-backed portfolio company. Zucker serves as the Executive Chairman and Operating Partner for Dominion Youth Services, a community behavioral health organization and ABA owned by Century Park Capital.

Zucker previously served as a Board Member and Senior Advisor for Alsana Health, a national provider of eating disorder care. He co-founded and served as CEO of Stars Behavioral Health Group (SBHG), one of California’s largest private, for-profit behavioral healthcare providers. Zucker also served as Corporate Clinical Director at SunHealth, a national provider of skilled nursing and long-term care.
He began his career as a psychologist, working in hospitals, forensics, and youth services. Zucker earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and computer science from the State University of New York at Albany and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
