Our 2009 book, Waging War on Complexity Costs (McGraw-Hill), lauded by business leaders, introduces our point of view: that the world today is best understood as a complex system, with fundamental implications for how organizations manage and reduce costs (as we discuss in the book).  In fact, we are the originators and innovators behind Square Root Costing, a groundbreaking methodology that provides companies with an understanding of their true costs quickly, but without the upheaval associated with activity-based costing.
